FAQs
What am I supposed to wear?
Typically, boudoir is done wearing lingerie, but it’s not strictly necessary. People do boudoir with all kinds of shirts and robes and jackets. Be creative! You can wear just about anything you want. This is your chance to show off.
How many outfits should I bring?
It’s a good idea to bring at least 2 outfits, but don’t worry if you can only bring 1. Variety is the spice of life, so don’t be afraid to mix and match.
I’m really nervous, how do I stay calm?
Being nervous is perfectly natural! Boudoir photography is normally outside peoples’ comfort zone, and that’s half the fun. Just remember that you’re doing this for yourself. Take it from me that once you see some of the photos during the session, you’ll be a lot more confident!
Do you alter the photos in any way?
I do colour grading on the photos to make them look as amazing as possible. I do NOT change the content of them at all. It would go against the whole point of boudoir to airbrush skin or remove imperfections. Know that all photos you get from me are entirely you.
Will my pictures be put online?
Only if you say that I can! Unless otherwise agreed upon, nobody but you will see your pictures. Being able to share them on this website or social media helps me advertise, but I will only do so with your permission.
Can/Should I bring anyone else with me?
Absolutely, I even recommend it. The most important thing for you during a session is to be as comfortable as possible, and bringing a friend or spouse along is a great way to help with that. If you’re having fun the pictures will be way better!
